Chatform vs Google Forms
Google Forms is a great free tool when you need a simple form with fixed questions. Chatform is for when the answers matter more than the form: an AI asks your questions as a conversation, helps when someone answers vaguely, and gives you a summary and a score for every response.
Chatform also has a form mode with one question per screen, where the AI still picks each next question, so you can choose a chat, a voice call or a form for each link.
Side by side
| Google Forms | Chatform | |
|---|---|---|
| How questions are asked | All on a page, as you wrote them | One at a time as a chat, voice call or form, each chosen by the AI from the answers so far |
| A vague answer like "depends" | Saved as typed | The AI offers a few options and asks again |
| Follow-up questions | Only the paths you set up in advance | The AI digs in when an answer is worth it, and skips what doesn't apply |
| Answering by voice | Not available | Real-time voice call in the browser |
| Hindi and Hinglish conversation | You can write questions in Hindi | The AI chats and talks in the person's language |
| Summary and score per response | Not built in | One-line takeaway, category and hot, warm or cold score |
| Price | Free | Free to start: 200 credits when you sign up |

Questions
Should I switch from Google Forms?
If you only need fixed answers, Google Forms is enough. If you need to understand people, qualify leads, or get the reasons behind feedback, Chatform's conversation gets you more from the same questions.
Can people still fill a normal form in Chatform?
Yes. Choose form mode for a link and people answer one question per screen, with the same summaries and dashboard. You also see which question people stop at.
Can I export responses like a Google Sheet?
Yes. Export every response to CSV, with each answer in its own column.
